Gardening as an Act of Resistance and a Form of Therapy

PharmUnique was founded by Dominique K, a passionate and multifaceted black millennial woman. As a wife, daughter, sister, Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy graduate, and proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, Dominique's journey into the world of gardening began during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Driven by a deep love for gardening, Dominique's mission goes beyond creating beautiful outdoor spaces. It centers around educating the community and reconnecting with our ancestral heritage of farming and agriculture. Inspired by the philosophy of 'Sankofa', which emphasizes the importance of remembering the past to shape a better future, our founder believes that embracing our roots in farming as a community.
